Carol Vorderman has knocked numbers off the sale price of her home - where she once hurt herself falling naked off a running machine.

Her luxury mansion which has its own heated pool, gym and bar is being offered for £2.495million.

The 56-year-old maths whiz shared photos of her stunning North Somerset pad when it went on sale for £2.6m almost a year ago.

Vorderman said she was selling the secluded three-bedroom home in Clapton-in-Gordano so she could move into nearby Bristol to be nearer her mother.

But the house didn't find a buyer and it was taken off the market while she appeared as a contestant in I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

The former Countdown star bought the house, named Uplands, in 2007 for £1.1m and promptly changed the name to Sloblock.

Now agents Knight Frank have put the house back on the market in time for spring with a new price tag of £2.495m.

Built in the 1970s and designed around a series of concentric circles, the 4,205 square-foot house boasts a heated outdoor pool, bar and gym.

The open-plan home has a kitchen and living room on the ground floor, along with three bedrooms.

There is a suspended wood burning open fire and glass ceiling in the sitting room, with the glass wall opening onto a circular terrace with large pond and waterfall.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, a dressing room and balcony which overlooks almost four acres of gardens.

The pool and a water feature were added by Vorderman when she moved in as well as new windows and insulation.

It was previously called Uplands, but was renamed Sloblock (anagram of B****ks after a Countdown sketch on the 1990s show Fry & Laurie).

The name became the subject of a regular joke between Vorderman and her co-presenter Richard Whiteley.

The keen pilot was planning to use the proceeds from the sale to become the ninth woman to fly solo around the globe.

In 2015 Carol was left 'covered in burns' after naked treadmill fall at the home.

She revealed her nude exercise mishap to more than 330,000 Twitter followers.
